Today, it is also known as the Municipal Corporation Library. The building of the library is built with the timber and the stone. It has very wide wood paneled windows which are located on every side of the building and adds to its beauty. It also has a sloping roof, which keeps it safe from the elements of the weather.

Best Time to visit State Library Shimla

You can visit the State Library when you are on vacation in Shimla. The library is open all year around, from Tuesday to Sunday. The weekly off is on Monday. The timings of the Library are from 10 am in the morning to 5 pm in the evening. If you are a loner or wanderers who want a good experience you can visit the library.
