The Himalayan Bird Park is situated very close to another important heritage building of Shimla, the Vice Regal Lodge. As it is located almost in the center of the town, visitors can reach here very easily. If visitors are traveling from the Railway Station side then they must take Chaura Maidan Road that is going in the direction of Summer Hills.

Timings of the Himalayan Bird Park

The Himalayan Bird Park is opened for the visitors during the summer month from March 1st to September 30th.  The timing of the park is from 10 AM to 5 PM.  The best time of the day to visit the park is during morning and afternoon hours.  The total time needed to visit the park is about two-three hours. During winters, the entire park is covered with snow.

Situated in the western side of the famous Scandal Point, the Himalayan Bird Park is only 4.5 km away from the Scandal Point.
